This volume of the magazine that I wrote talks about the hard lives of models within the modeling industry, more specifically the high fashion industry. It creates unrealistic beauty standards that impact the model's lifestyle, and manipulate the public's view of what physical beauty is. To respond to this I inspired my design through David Carson's works. I used rough texture, typography, a contrasting color scheme, photography, and illustration to embody the seriousness of the magazine's topic.
